NetEase Games are one of the main players in mobile gaming right now, working and updating multiple titles all at once. So many, in fact, it has had to hold multiple online events to cover it. With one being held last week.

Don’t worry if you missed it though, as we’ve listed our five highlights for you below. You lucky souls.

Mission Zero

Probably the most interesting of the new titles teased, Mission Zero is a fairly simplistic 2 vs 4 stealth game – where you can either be an invader or a chaser. What appeals are the solid visuals and evident sense of humour – as the panda costume in the video above amply demonstrates.

Whether it’ll do enough to stand out in the PvP crowd we’ll wait and see, but we’re quietly confident this will be worth looking into when it launches. It has a technical test in Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia in July – a global launch date has yet to be announced.

Tank Company

It might not be original or clever, but we can’t deny that the scope of this game appeals. Boasting 15 vs 15 online battles across a range of maps, this could be a decent – and hopefully superior – alternative to World of Tanks Blitz. You can pre-register for the game now too.

Badlanders

A new escape mechanic has been added to this survival looter gamer in its latest update. This means you can now win by nabbing the most loot from the battlefield, and not just by being the last person standing. A sensible tweak that will hopefully make the title accessible for gamers that possess a less aggressive streak.

Infinite Lagrange

Pushed as the headline news of the event, a new update to this sprawling sci-fi title will add a new “Identity Agreement” option. This means depending on the identity of your explorer you’ll have different missions and settlement goals. There was already a lot going on in Infinity Lagrange, but this addition appears to increase its scope in a welcome and intelligent way.

Harry Potter: Magic Awakened

Finally we got a new video for the card focused RPG, which is releasing on PC and mobile later this year. It feels like we’ve been waiting a long time for this one to launch, but it does at least look aesthetically interesting and unique compared to many of the cookie cutter style titles that have launched over the years based on this license. Fingers crossed.
