Zynga launches PetVille

Social games juggernaut Zynga just keeps coming with the ‘Ville games. While many of us are still getting used to the idea of FishVille (which followed on the heels of FarmVille and YoVille!), the company has already gone ahead and launched a new Facebook sim called PetVille.

Based on the description on the game’s Facebook page (“In PetVille, you raise, dress, and care for a pet that you create. Visit your friends’ houses and play with their pets to earn coins you can use to make your own house the coolest on the block!”), and our brief impressions, the game seems heavily inspired by Playfish’s Pet Society. We’ll delve further into the game and let you know how it stacks up against other Facebook pet sims, so stay tuned for our review!
