The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) has announced the 2012 finalists for its annual Interactive Achievement Awards. A trio of downloadable PC/Mac games –Drawn: Trail of Shadows, Bastion and Orcs Must Die! – were all nominated in the Downloadable Game of the Year category, which shouldn’t be too surprising since they also appeared on Gamezebo’s own Best of 2011 lists. Rounding out the list of nominees in the Downloadable category are a couple of Xbox LIVE Arcade games: Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (Xbox Live Arcade), Ms. Splosion Man (Xbox 360). The winners will be announced on Feb. 9 during the D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit in Las Vegas.
