Dr. Mario World, the mobile version of Nintendo’s classic puzzler, will finally arriver on iOS and Android on July 10 and you can pre-register right now.
Your goal is to match viruses with capsules of the same colour to eliminate them in this Tetris-style puzzler. You’ll have to be careful though, as you only have a limited number of capsules.
You’ll save the world from nasty viruses as either Dr. Mario, Dr. Bowser, Dr. Peach, and more. There’s a variety of assistants too, like Goomba, Koopa Troopa, and Buzzy Beetle among more.
Each doctor and assistant combo provides a variety of unique skills you can bring to the table. Eventually, you’ll settle into your favourite team that adapts to your playstyle.
There are hundreds of levels to complete, set over a variety of different worlds. Nintendo will no doubt release more as time passes too, perhaps with new doctors and assistants.
If you’ve got friends who play too, you can send and receive hearts that will boost your stamina. You can even play against them in a versus mode if you’re into that sort of thing.
