Urbex and Live Stream in Paranormal Horror Game Don’t Go Live, Steam Demo Drops Soon
And integrate your actual Twitch chat!

A new indie horror game called Don’t Go Live is launching its demo on Steam soon. It’s from an indie studio called Lake On Fire, which is based out of Reunion Island in France. The theme is quite interesting: you play the role of a live streamer.
Lake On Fire dropped an announcement trailer today along with the Don’t Go Live Demo reveal. As the protagonist live streamer, you do urbex, that’s urban exploration of abandoned places for content. It’s a paranormal horror game, so obviously things go very wrong at one point.
You go into places you absolutely shouldn’t be in just to entertain viewers who want creepy stuff. The deeper you go, the worse it gets, because there’s some entity lurking around and following you. Every little thing you do, like scanning, walking around, or even stream alerts, makes everything escalate.
Coming to the gameplay, Don’t Go Live lets you integrate your actual Twitch chat into the game. Real viewers, real messages, emotes, spam, all of that shows up and directly triggers stuff in-game in real time. Yep, real creepy!
So, the more the audience reacts, the more dangerous your situation becomes in-game. And if you don’t have a Twitch account or don’t want to deal with real people, there’s also a simulated chat.
The presentation is in a found-footage style camera that glitches and distorts whenever paranormal stuff is nearby. There’s also a paranormal scanner that lets you see things that aren’t visible normally. Take a look at the game below.
Sounds interesting? Try the Don’t Go Live demo on Steam
The Don’t Go Live demo on Steam is going live on April 29th, 2026. It will let you access one location, one entity, and one full gameplay loop. The full release date isn’t announced yet, but the game will launch this year.
