NetEase is on a roll. Not only can the studio boast one of the biggest battle royale games outside Fortnite in the form of Rules of Survival, but earlier this year it released an impossibly ambitious zombie apocalypse survival sim called LifeAfter.

And the roll shows no signs of abating with Disorder, the studio’s latest ambitious genre-straddling title.

If you want to get a flavor of what to expect then just watch the stylish teaser trailer NetEase has just released, which features two characters called Beretta and Enfield.

Disorder is a squad-based shooter, which NetEase developed in response to a shortage of great multiplayer shooting experiences on mobile. In particular, the studio felt that the games currently on the market lack diverse terrains and balanced weapons, and it wanted to remedy that.

While concrete details are still thin on the ground, we can build a pretty good picture from the trailer.

Beretta Capone appears to be a member of a faction called Ghost Puppets. Enfield is a Ghost Puppet too, which puts them on the same side in the war over nuclear weapons with the other factions in the game’s bleak world: Pale Knights and Cadaver Unit.

Beretta and Enfield clearly have beef, though, as the trailer opens with the two of them fighting on top of a train – internationally recognised as the most badass place to have a fight with somebody.

We’re dying to know out how Beretta and Enfield fell out, and to meet the rest of the game’s cast of colorful characters. And, of course, we can’t wait to see how Disorder plays.

It’s on the horizon, and getting closer. For now you can keep your interest piqued by watching the trailer above.

Stay tuned for more info as we get it. You can find the official Disorder website here, and also be sure to check out its official Facebook and Twitter pages.
