The lighhearted undead romp Zombie Lane was originally launched on Facebook, but today developer Digital Chocolate is letting players whack zombies with shovels from the comfort of their iPhone or iPad.
The mobile version of the game, available in the App Store here, appears to play identically to its Facebook counterpart, just a bit smaller. That means you’ll be able to fight zombies, build up a home, and just generally fight for survival. You can even use both Game Center and Facebook Connect to find friends to play with.
Unfortunately, as with most Facebook-to-mobile ports, the different versions of the game don’t speak to one another. So even if you’ve already invested some time into the Facebook version of the game you’ll need to start over again when you boot it up on your phone.
As with the Facebook version, the iOS edition of Zombie Lane is free-to-play.
