Dead Cells on mobile has done the rumour rounds for some time now, but it’s a rumour no longer. Playdigious has just confirmed its plans to bring the Souls-like action platformer to mobile later this year.

This action platformer draws inspiration from a number of different genres, including soulsborne, platformer, metroidvania, and roguelike.

Dead Cells Combines a Bunch of Different Genres on Mobile

You’ll explore a vast, terrifying castle, battling enemies with cruncy combat, seeking new equipment, and defeating bosses to progress.

The world is interconnected, and absolutely ripe for exploration. You can go back to previous areas as you unblock new equipment too, providing lots of extra content.
