After launching the demo on Steam globally in August 2024, Cult of PiN is finally getting a full release. Exactly two years after it first appeared on Steam, the game will launch globally for PC, Mac, Linux, and Steam Deck on August 10, 2026.

A pinball game but also a roguelike full of ridiculous damage numbers and build-crafting, that’s what Cult of PiN is. Made by solo developer KennyMakesGames, the game draws heavily from Windows 3D Pinball: Space Cadet. But that comes with a dressing of the progression of Balatro and Peglin.

Keeping the ball alive still matters, of course. But high scores depend just as much on the roguelike mechanics. You work through handcrafted 3D pinball boards by smashing bumpers, hitting mission objectives, and taking down giant bio-mechanical Boss Bumpers.

You collect over 100 powerful Glyphs and Blessings to mix and match into game-breaking combinations, score multipliers, and run-altering effects. There are also eight distinct playable Balls. Each one comes with its own rules, passive mechanics, speeds, and powerful Ritual abilities.

Cult of PiN needs you to master techniques like cradled ramp shots, precise nudging, and tricky shots to reach Act VI on each table and claim victory. After that, it doesn’t just stop. Endless mode opens up so that you keep climbing higher and chase leaderboard positions.

The game offers four handcrafted 3D tables, 16 bumper types, eight random Table Traits, hidden bonus tables, and six difficulty settings. Every table includes two global leaderboards, one Monthly and one All-Time.

Cult of PiN also comes with native controller support and Steam Deck optimisation for high-framerate portable play. When it launches on Steam on August 10th, it will cost $14.99. Grabbing it during the launch week will net you a 15% discount.
