At launch, COVET Fashion is set to feature over 1,000 unique and real-life clothing pieces to browse, from more than 60 high-end and luxurious brands, including Rebecca Minkoff, Torn by Ronny Kobo, and Cut25 by Yigal Azrouel. And of course, if players simply can’t part with the fresh and stylin’ new outfits they’ve created for their digital counterparts, well then COVET Fashion will provide them with direct links to each respective brand so they can buy the very same outfits for themselves in real life.
What’s more, players will even be able to enter their dressed avatars and seasonal fashion looks into real-life competitions, with some pretty cool prizes for the winners, like special designer items or personalized style advice from Rachel Zoe. “COVET is the perfect expression of fashion,” says Jeffrey Tseng, the CEO of CrowdStar. “It’s the only mobile experience that combines the three tenets of fashion – shopping, styling, and being seen.”
