Rubi: The Wayward Mira is a promising looking metroidvania from Crescent Moon Games, and it’s arriving on mobile devices in 2019.

Go on…

Taking inspiration from particle physics and the Large Hadron Collider located at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), Rubi: The Wayward Mira sees you play as the titular Rubi who is struggling to survive on a decaying planet.

The planet in question is called Casimir, and is inhabited by a race called the Mira – who have basically messed up big time and contributed massively to the slow destruction of their homeworld (sound familiar?).

Rubi is part of this race, but has special powers. She finds herself transported one day to a strange lush land on Earth. Here her adventure begins.

Rubi: The Wayward Mira demo available

Obviously details are at a minimum as it’s not out until next year, but as it’s a title from Crescent Moon Games you can expect tight controls, crisp visuals, and a premium price point. We can’t wait.

If this sounds right up your alley you can even check out a demo of Rubi: The Wayward Mira via Itch.io right here, right now.
