We do like to cover Desktop/Web gaming when we can here on Gamezebo. And one of the big names in desktop gaming is undoubtedly CrazyGames, and it has two announcements to share.

One is the launch of Crazy Web Game Jam 2024, which will run from November 1-8th and will look to see who can create the best web based title.

There are publishing deals worth $50,000 up for grabs, and the winners will be announced after a 3-month incubation period.

The second piece of news is that Struckd from Unity will join the CrazyGames Originals line of titles.

But what is Struckd we hear you ask. Well it’s basically a game development app that enables anyone to create games with no coding needed – so perfect for anyone looking to maybe make their first steps into the gaming industry.

That’s what Rafael Morgan, VP of Marketing and Partnerships at CrazyGames hopes anyway, saying that “an app of this caliber to CrazyGames Originals shows our commitment to spearheading a new era in web gaming and UGC discovery.”

That about sums up these two pieces of news, but to stay informed on all things CrazyGames you can visit its site right here.

Simon has been playing portable games since his Game Boy Pocket and a very worn out copy of Donkey Kong Land 2, and he has no intention of stopping anytime soon. Playing Donkey Kong Land 2 that is. And games in general we suppose.
