Ever since its launch this summer, Google+’s games section has been slow to add new titles. But now it has a big one, as Zynga has announced that CityVille is now available on Google’s social network.

The game is officially listed as CityVille+ on the Google+ games listing, but it looks to be identical to its Facebook counterpart. It joins Zynga Poker as the only games from the developer on the social network. CityVille is currently the largest game on Facebook with more than 70 million monthly active users.

CityVille grew to become our largest game on Facebook, so naturally we wanted to ‘build’ a presence for it on Google+,” the company wrote on its blog. “Ultimately, we want to make our games accessible to everyone, everywhere – no matter where they play or what platform they play on.”

A localized version of the game, dubbed Zynga City is also available in China, and an iOS spin-off called CityVille Hometown also launched in June.

This is the second recent announcement of a Zynga game coming to a Google platform, as last week the developer announced an Android version of Hanging With Friends.
