BitLife Developer Candywriter Has Acquired InstLife, and Will Merge it With BitLife Over the Coming Months

Here’s some totally unexpected and exciting news: Candywriter, the smash hit developer of BitLife, has acquired InstLife, one of the first text-based life simulators for mobile.

InstLife was previously the property of InstCoffee, a development studio made up of just two developers. Impressively, these guys managed to create and maintain a fully-fledged and highly popular life simulator for mobile.

BitLife Developer Candywriter Will Merge Features and Scenarios From InstLife to BitLife

While it’s sad news that InstLife will no longer receive support, we’re happy to learn that its best features and scenarios will make the transition over to BitLife. So, at least in some form, InstLife will live on.

Candywriter hasn’t detailed its plans in full just yet though, so we’ll have to wait and see what makes it over to BitLife. You can make requests by reaching out to them on Twitter though.
