Apple iPad available on April 3

Apple has just announced that select versions of its upcoming iPad tablet device will be available in the US as of Saturday, April 3. Customers will be able to purchase the Wi-Fi only models on this date, with WiFi+3G models available before the end of April. Both versions will be available for pre-order beginning March 12 through Apple’s online store or any Apple retail location.

Apple has just announced that select versions of its upcoming iPad tablet device will be available in the US as of Saturday, April 3. Customers will be able to purchase the Wi-Fi only models on this date, with WiFi+3G models available before the end of April. Both versions will be available for pre-order beginning March 12 through Apple’s online store or any Apple retail location.

Customers outside of the US won’t have long to wait either, with all models of the iPad becoming available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the UK before the end of April.
