The latest issue of the UK edition of Wired magazine, as spotted by CasualGaming.Biz, includes a feature on the wildly successful game in which developer Rovio reveals that that Angry Birds is in indeed coming to the world’s biggest social network.
But the Facebook version appears to be unique, and will feature collaborative elements not featured in other versions. “The pigs will have a more prominent role,” said Rovio’s Mikael Hed.
No word yet on when the game will be released, but if you’re anxious for a new Angry Birds fix Angry Birds Rio will be hitting mobile phaons sometime this month.
