Zynga scoops up Casino City developer DNA Games

Zynga’s acquisition spree shows no signs of stopping, and this time the Facebook giant has picked up DNA Games, the developer best known for creating Casino City. This comes less than a month after Zynga picked up GodFinger developer Wonderland Software.

Zynga’s acquisition spree shows no signs of stopping, and this time the Facebook giant has picked up DNA Games, the developer best known for creating Casino City.This comes less than a month after Zynga picked up GodFinger developer Wonderland Software.

“DNA Games has a proven track record developing highly engaging social games and a technology platform that enables rapid iteration and optimization of game features and design,” said Zynga in a statement. “Their expertise will be a valuable asset in next-generation game development for Zynga.”

In addition to Casino City, DNA also released both Bar World and Slot City on Facebook.

The top management at DNA will remain at Zynga, as the team will form part of a new studio developing brand new games.
