And the big just keep on getting bigger. Less than two months after aquiring Drop7 developer Area/Code, Zynga has announced that is has purchsed Boston-based game studio Floodgate Entertainment.
This marks Zynga’s 10th aquisition in as many months, and the addition of Floodgate appears aimed at bolstering the company’s mobile presence. Floodgate has previously worked on mobile versions of Age of Empires, Civilization, Madden, Neverwinter Nights, and more, as well as the Daycare Nightmare series of PC games.
Floodgate will be joining the pre-exisitng Zynga Boston, which itself is made up of the recently purchased Conduit Labs.
