Zombie Farm 2 Preview

It’s a question every child asks at some point in their innocent lives: “Where do zombies come from?” Our answer is typically, “Well, when a daddy zombie loves a brain very much,” etc, but PlayForge has been doing its part to deliver the difficult truth: that zombies come from farms. In fact, Zombie Farm 2 for iOS features even more zombie-cultivating fun than the first game, because hey – your kids are going to learn the truth eventually.

Agricultural history is riddled with zombies. I’m surprised you didn’t know that.

Zombie Farm 2

In Zombie Farm 2, you are a farmer who grows produce alongside zombies, because Mother Nature can apparently shove it. You sell your crops for gold which you can use to build up your farm. It’s kind of like the Circle of Life, but with more profits and rotting flesh.

Zombie Farm 2 brings some new features to the formula, too. Farmers can use a “Zombie Pot” to grow and cross-breed super-mutated zombies. What do you get when you cross a tomato-head zombie with a turnip-armed zombie? Probably a big pile of wilted salad.

Other features include a basic zombie storage shed that can be upgraded to get rid of the storage cap, as well as the ability to bring over your farms and creations from the first game. Waste not want not, even as far as dead flesh is concerned. Add to that new invasions and tactics, updated art, and plenty of customization options, and you’ve got a pretty fresh crop of features this time around.

Zombie Farm 2 will be available on iOS by May 23. Mark that day on your calendar as the Night of the Living Vegetables.
