Terry Cavanagh’s VVVVVV is a tough game, but a really great tough game.

All this week, gamers interested in picking up VVVVVV for their iOS device can do so for free by heading to their local Starbucks and picking up a Starbucks “Pick of the Week” card.

You don’t need to buy anything to get a card. So you can just walk right in and take a card off the counter, or wherever they have them displayed, and walk out. That said, let’s not forget that it’s Candy Cane Frappuccino season.

Alternatively, if you have a Starbucks card synced up to the Starbucks App on your iPhone, you should already have access to the game through the app.

Usually, Starbucks “Pick of the Week” program features music, but occasionally us nerds get a treat and a game is featured. In the past And Then It Rained and Threes! were free through Starbucks, and we can more than likely expect more games in the future.

What are some games that you think would make a good fit for the Starbucks “Pick of the Week” program?
