There have been a few MOBAs on iOS and Android, but with the exception of Vainglory, none have quite managed to really catch on with mobile gamers. Titan Brawl is hoping to change all of that.

The game sees two teams facing off across a level, with two lanes and two totems. Smash your opponent’s totem and you win, but you need to defend your own as well. You’ve got the usual assortment of heroes and troops at your disposal, and you need to build up a strong team if you want to win.

There are diffrent heroes, and looking at the designs in the trailer below, they all look like they have their own strengths and weaknesses. There’s a big punchy one, a shooty one, and one that looks an awful lot like Thor.

There are PvP and solo modes, and you can team up with your friends to take on all-comers and prove that you’re the best at smashing people into little pieces. The game has been designed from the ground up for mobile. It features brief but fast paced 4 minute matches, and lets you connect and play with your friends with ease, something that’s incredibly important in a MOBA.

Titan Brawl is currently in the Google Play Beta program, and it’ll be coming to iOS and Android in the not-too-distant future. It definitely looks like it’s got potential, and if the gameplay can match the polish of the rest of the game, then developer Omnidrome could be on to something special.

Simon has been playing portable games since his Game Boy Pocket and a very worn out copy of Donkey Kong Land 2, and he has no intention of stopping anytime soon. Playing Donkey Kong Land 2 that is. And games in general we suppose.
