Time Princess has just turned three years old, and, to celebrate, developer IGG has launched an exciting collaboration between the game and the Museo del Baile Flamenco. Which not only celebrates Time Princess, but also its dedication to cultural diversity.

What’s Time Princess?

If you somehow haven’t heard of it, Time Princess sees you heading to a place called Paradise Town for your summer break. While there, you participate in a wide variety of different stories, unlocking new cosmetics along the way.

It’s a dress-up game at heart, with a wide variety of different stories that whisk you away on a variety of different adventures. Along the way you’ll meet friends, unlock pets, and collect a wide variety of items for your wardrobe.

What’s This Collaboration about?

The Flamenco museum Museo del Baile Flamenco is the official museum of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage element Flamenco – and has teamed up with Time Princess to deepen people’s understanding of Flamenco culture.

It’ll do this in a range of ways, both through in-game activities and also via a real life museum.

What in-game events are there?

The most exciting is the inclusion of a new rhythm game in Time Princess, with this seeing you dancing to the beat of real Flamenco music.

You can also put your knowledge to the test by taking the Flamenco knowledge quiz – and there’s also a limited time chance to watch a story related to Flamenco in the game. The trailer for that is right above these very words.

Given that Time Princess is a dress up game, it wouldn’t be an update without new clothes either. There are four sets themed on the Seville Tour, Voice of Flamenco, and more. They all look amazing, naturally.

Rounding up the exciting additions are an anniversary login event, which can award you with 100 Gold Tickets, as well as a social media competition that could see you win official merchandise.

What are the offline events?

The Museo del Baile Flamenco is hosting displays for the collaboration as well. You can see a picture of one of the displays above, and the museum’s Curator has also been interviewed about the game.

As you can tell from this interview there’s a massive passion to really show off Flamenco culture in the game and through the exhibits for the event. The enthusiasm is truly infectious.

How can I play this game?

This exciting collaboration – which really shows how culturally diverse and important games can be – can be enjoyed if you download Time Princess from the App Store and Google Play right now. And if you’re near The Museo del Baile Flamenco, make sure you pop in!
