Previously responsible for versions of The Price is Right on a variety of consoles, Ludia is braving new ground to bring the popular game show to Facebook starting on June 14th. Despite having previous experience with a wide range of games on a wide range of platforms, this is the first game Ludia has announced for Facebook.

Every important element of the show will be recreated for fans to enjoy in-game. Contestant’s Row, pricing games, the Big Wheel and the Showcase Showdown will all play a part in the Facebook Price is Right experience. Pricing games confirmed to make an appearance include Plinko, Cliff Hangers, and Punch-a-Bunch. We’ve been promised that these will be joined by “many more,” though specifics are not available quite yet.

Unlike many games on Facebook that provide an asynchronous social experience, The Price is Right will feature live multiplayer games with friends and/or other players in the Facebook community.

Not wanting to keep all of the fun in-game, The Price is Right will also feature weekly tournaments where the prize is a trip for two to Los Angeles to be in the real show’s actual audience! Players looking to be amongst the first to play can visit www.PlayTPIR.com/facebook to sign up for a special bonus launch offer.

Fans of the show won’t have to wait long to get their hands on this one. The Price is Right will arrive on Facebook June 14th.
