The Great Jitters: Panic Ride puts an endless twist on panicked pudding

The Ghostbusters need to watch out, because it looks like they’re about to be replaced… by pudding. I know, I know: you probably never expected to read a sentence like that. I certainly never expected to write it.

The game is a the second in the series, coming after Pudding Panic, the action puzzle game from earlier this year where a piece of Jell-O-like pudding rode around on a ghost train and fought against all sorts of ghosts and goblins. In The Great Jitters: Panic Ride, everyone’s favorite piece of pudding is back on the train and rampaging through the spooky worlds contained within a haunted house.

This time, the game will feature a survival mechanic: the idea is that your pudding-carrying train will increase in speed every second, while you have to use the iPhone and iPad’s tilt-sensing technology to control your character’s movements. It’s going to require some foresight, patience, and just a little luck to pick up enough weapons, boosters, and power-ups to survive a level and all the monsters that populate it.

The title will never provide the same experience twice, as its levels are randomly generated, presenting a variety of different 3D worlds to explore during the course of your madcap endless adventure.

The Great Jitters: Panic Ride is set to come out on October 28th, just in time for Halloween.
