Star Command gets an interstellar release date of May 2

Long before Tim Schafer turned Kickstarter into the buzzword financial solution that has drawn every developer and their mother to crowdfunding megasite, a little indie studio called Warballoon Studios made a splash on the service with Star Command.  Now, 18 months later, that game is ready to start its spaceward voyage.

Launching this Thursday, May 2, Star Command is a Star Trek-inspired title that promises strategy and action in equal measures.  Can you guide your starship to the farthest reaches of space, keep your crew alive, and manage everyone’s tasks individually to contribute to the greater good?
