If you’ve seen any of the films from the Shrek franchise, you’d know that the titular character likes to keep to himself, and that trait sticks with him in Fairytale Kingdom, he just wants to be left alone in his swamp. This means it’s up to you to convince Shrek to come out of his shell and earn his friendship.
You’ll be able to win over Shrek by giving him mud baths, giving him plenty of slugs to eat, and an outhouse for him to love all his own. Winning Shrek over isn’t all there is to do, it’s really just the beginning. You’ll be able to tag along with Shrek on an adventure across the kingdom, with plenty of hilarious encounters and romance.
What good would any Shrek game be without his friends? Fairytale Kingdom incorporates Donkey, Fiona, Dragon, Lord Farquaad and more into Shrek’s journey. They’ll help guide you on the quest, and help you collect items and valuable money.
Besides just building your very own kingdom, you’ll be able to recreate events from the movies, such as make balloon animals, save Princess Fiona among others. Mini-games round out the gameplay, so you’ll always have a chance to expand your kingdom.
