Rabbids Go HD Preview

As my four and six year old daughters would be happy to tell you, there’s always room for another virtual pet game in the App Store. Heck, that’s what keeps entertainment apps like Talking Ben the Dog and Talking Zombo the Zombie so popular – kids simply can’t get enough of them. Ubisoft tried their hand at the phenomenon back in 2009 with the release of Rabbids Go Phone. Now it looks like the Rabbids are getting ready to invade your phone… again!

Rabbids Go Phone Again let’s you put a Rabbid in your pocket this December

As my four and six year old daughters would be happy to tell you, there’s always room for another virtual pet game in the App Store. Heck, that’s what keeps entertainment apps like Talking Ben the Dog and Talking Zombo the Zombie so popular – kids simply can’t get enough of them. Ubisoft tried their hand at the phenomenon back in 2009 with the release of Rabbids Go Phone. Now it looks like the Rabbids are getting ready to invade your phone… again!

Coming out this holiday season, Rabbids Go Phone Again will provide the young and young at heart with a Rabbid of their very own to poke, prod, and provoke. Ubisoft are promising plenty of new moves for your Rabbid, as well as new interactive accessories like a toilet brush or a piranha for your pet to interact with.

More to the point, though, Rabbids Go Phone Again will let players bring their Rabbids into the real world thanks to the magic of the iPhone’s camera. You’ll be able to take photos (or upload existing ones) and add the Rabbids in to create all sorts of wacky “Rabbids meet the real world” style mashups. Once created, they can be shared directly on Facebook to spread the Rabbid love.

If you already own the original Rabbids Go Home, Ubisoft are promising to deliver this one to you free of charge, which suggests to us that this will be a direct replacement for the existing app rather than a standalone sequel. Expect to put a Rabbid in your pocket (or, if you’re more the big screen type, on your iPad) this December.
