Polysphere is a 3D puzzle arcade game from Playgendary. Each puzzle presented to the player is a smattering of colored shapes where the player is tasked to move the shapes around until a picture forms. The shapes are stationery, but the player can move them the entire 360 degrees to figure out the puzzle. Some players may find Polysphere easy, but for those who don’t, here are few tips, cheats and strategies to help.

Bring All the Pieces Together

The puzzles are not simply finding the correct angle of a three-dimensional object. The game doesn’t make the object entirely clear, but the goal of each puzzle is to find the spot where all the pieces coalesce into the object. Once the pieces are in the right place, they will come together to form the solution, whether its a strawberry, a diamond, or an astronaut.

Work to Match the Colors

When working to bring all the pieces together, the best way to do that is to match the colors. Although some of the objects are obvious, it’s not good to try and figure out the picture for two reasons. One, the picture is sideways in the solution, which can make it difficult to decipher, and two, sometimes the puzzle has only two or three colors. By matching the colors, it’s easier to figure out how all of the pieces fit together. Besides, when the colors are pink and red, for example, it’s not easy to determine if the picture is lips, a ruby or a hummingbird.

If It Seems So Close, Turn the Puzzle 180 Degrees

Sometimes, you’ll bring the pieces together but the puzzle will not complete. Everything may feel right, but it’s clearly wrong, or else the game would confirm the player is correct. If this is the case, you may simply have the picture reversed. Spin the puzzle 180 degrees or so and match up the colors again, bringing you closer to the solution, if not right to it.
