Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a prequel to the hit original, which gave birth to the HD-2D era. It brings back your favourite characters, along with a bunch of new additions. The base game is largely the same though: explore the environments, participate in story beats, and battle a bunch of enemies. If you liked the original, and are a fan of mobile gachas, you’ll love this one.

Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent heroes are divided into one of eight different classes: Apothecaries, Clerics, Dancers, Hunters, Merchants, Scholars, Thieves, and Warriors. If that’s familiar, that’s because it emulates the classes found in the original Octopath Traveler.
We’ve listed all of the confirmed characters below per class. Remember, this is based on the Japanese release, rather than the global release. So, if you see characters here that you can’t currently get in the final version, that’s why.
