Tiers Explained

• S Tier: These are the characters we class as the best in the game at the moment. In terms of Guilty Gear Strive, these characters are the ideal options when taking part in PvP and PvE content.
• A Tier: These characters are brilliant options too, they’re just not as strong as those in S-tier. These A-tier characters are still great to use in PvE and PvP content.
• B Tier: They may not be the strongest characters, but they can still get the job done. It may take a little longer to knock enemies down, but with persistence and good combos, you’ll be fine using these B-tier characters.
• C Tier: These characters definitely aren’t optimal for PvP. You may be able to PvP content with C-tier characters, but you’ll find that enemies may be harder to beat than if you were to use one of the higher-tier characters.
• D Tier: While you can still play as these D-tier characters, it’s best not to rely on them too much, especially during intense PvP matches.

S Tier

The best in the game right now. You’ll easily power through battles with these characters.
