Goose Goose Duck is a game of deception, similar to Town Of Salem or Among Us. You play as a group, supposedly of geese. Unfortunately, some dastardly ducks have snuck in, in disguise, and are engaging in some fowl play.

Now, we’ll go through our actual tier list, including an explanation of the sides, roles in each,  and some FAQs.

Geese

Geese are the innocent party. You’re trying to complete tasks around the level, root out any villainous ducks after your flock, and survive until the end of the round.

Gravy

• Completing tasks increases your bounty.
• Survive to keep your earnings.
• Killers can only kill you if you’re alone.

Medium

• You may know the number of ghosts.

Canadian

• Your body will auto self-report after one second if you are killed or swallowed.

Mimic

• The ducks view you as a duck.

Detective

• You can investigate players to see if they have killed that round.

Birdwatcher

• You can see through walls.

Bodyguard

• Protect to get a bonus.
• If you’re between them and their killer, you die instead.

Politician

• You win if the voting ties.
• You cannot be sent to jail.

Locksmith

• You can always open the jail door.

Mortician

• You can investigate a corpse to see their role.

Celebrity

• All geese are alerted when you’re killed.

Adventurer

• The environment cannot kill you.

Avenger

• If you witness a murder, you can temporarily kill.

Esper

• You automatically prevent Telepathy and Clairvoyance sabotages.
• Ducks will see your location if sabotage is blocked.

Astral

• You can send your spirit through walls.

Engineer

• Your mini-map can temporarilt approximate where living ducks called sabotages from.
• You can vent temporarily.

Street Urchin

• You can open locks from the inside.

Tracker

• You can see who’s outside during a sandstorm.

Stalker

• You can track another bird’s location.

Ducks

Ducks are the sneaky invaders trying to infiltrate the geese. Try and avoid getting detected and cause havoc!

Cannibal

• You can eat a corpse once per game.
• Your tasks are fake.

Morphling

• You can shapeshift into other players.
• Your tasks are fake.

Silencer

• You can mute other players during meetings.
• You can’t vent.
• Your tasks are fake.

Professional

• Geese can not see your victims.
• Geese will auto-report victims when they get near.
• You can’t report corpses.
• Your tasks are fake.

Spy

• Being the only person to vote for someone reveals their role.
• Your tasks are fake.

Assassin

• Twice per game, kill during meetings by correctly guessing a role.
• If you guess wrong, you die.
• Your tasks are fake.

Hitman

• Kill to get a bonus.
• Your tasks are fake.

Snitch

• Being the only person to vote for someone puts them in jail.
• Your tasks are fake.

Party

• You give other players a high-pitched voice during meetings.
• Your tasks are fake.

Demolitionist

• You plant bombs on other players. Your tasks are fake.

Identity Thief

• You shapeshift into your most recent victim until a meeting is called.
• Your tasks are fake.

Ninja

• You can kill two birds in range simultaneously.
• Your kill cooldown is three times normal.
• The cooldown recovers faster in the forbidden passageways.
• Your tasks are fake.

Undertaker

• You can drag bodies at a reduced speed. Your tasks are fake.

Invisibility

• You can turn invisible.
• Your tasks are fake.

Serial Killer

• Killing your target reduces your cooldown.
• Killing others increases it.
• Your tasks are fake.

Warlock

• Summons a deadly swarm of locusts as your sabotage.
• Your tasks are fake.

Other

These roles are outside the duck/goose dichotomy and have completely different goals.

Dodo Bird

• Get voted out to win.
• Your tasks are fake.

Vulture

• Eat corpses to win.
• Your tasks are fake.

Lover

• Can be either a goose or a duck.
• Survive with your lover.

Pigeon

• Infect every player in a single round to win.
• Your tasks are fake.

Falcon

• Win as last surviving player.
• Geese only win by tasks and ducks only win by sabotages while you’re alive.
• Always skips voting.
• Your tasks are fake.

Dueling Dodos

• Get voted out after the other Dodo dies to win.
• Complete your fake tasks to gain the ability to kill the other Dodo.

Pelican

• Win as the last survivor.
• You can swallow players whole, but they do not die until a meeting is called.
• Your tasks are fake.

What Are Roles?

Roles are randomly assigned character classes that add extra rules to your play experience in Goose Goose Duck. Other players do not know your role by default, though some have skills that let them learn the roles of others. It can sometimes be beneficial for allies to know you role, but you’ll need to be sure you can trust them first.

What Is Goose Goose Duck?

Goose Goose Duck is a multiplayer game of deception and investigation available for PC, Android, and iOS. In Goose Goose Duck, you play as an innocent goose, a villainous duck, or any number of other birds that have managed to sneak in.  Geese needs to complete tasks around the area, and ducks in their disguises need to wipe out as many geese as possible. Ducks need to be careful though, as the geese can send suspicious fowl off to jail.
