A recent update to Game Of Thrones Conquest allows us to craft armor from past events and gain new, persistent bonuses. As part of this update, we figured it was time to create a complete list of the Event Gear. That way we can effectively compare all gear items and decide what gear is worth crafting or what is worth avoiding.

What is crafting?

Crafting is a feature for players who have created the Smithy building. In order to build the Smithy, you will need to upgrade your keep past level five. Once you have the Smithy you can create armor, rings and weapons for each of the different houses across the Game of thrones universe.

Each house has its own unique armor set, ring and a weapon. Furthermore, each house has its own bonus which is what their items are especially good at. For example, the Dothraki’s bonuses involve better march speed for your units and improved effectiveness for your cavalry. There are individual bonuses each individual helmet or sword offers and all will be made clear below.

Whent

The Whent set has a bonus which is described as utility, meaning it is supposed to help you around the kingdom. Most sets are tailored towards your troops and combat bonuses, whereas the Whent set is designed to help you train, heal and even build quicker.

Siege Engineer

The Siege Engineer has a bonus which is unsurprisingly related to siege combat. So your march speed, damage to inflict to your opponents walls and effectiveness at dealing with enemy traps are all increased. Which makes this set crucial if you desire to take the kingdom by force.

Dornish

The Dornish set has a bonus dedicated towards your cavalry. This means the cavalry’s health, damage and speed are all boosted as well as various other cavalry related bonuses. If you couldn’t tell, this is a great set for units on horseback.

Dragon Knight

I think you can tell from the name what the Dragon Knight set will do, but in case you can’t allow me to explain. The bonus of this set is dragon combat, meaning the health and strength of your dragons are increased. Plus, the interactions between your troops and dragons is improved by this set.

Kingswood

The Kingswood set has a bonus suited for ranged combat. So this set improves the damage your archers do to your opponent’s infantry as well as your ranged units defense and healing time.

Braavosi Trader

The bonus of the the Braavosi Traders is called rally combat at seats of power. In English this means all round improvement for all units including cavalry, infantry and ranged units. This set improves the march speed and size of your units making it a good place to start if you haven’t decided on a set yet.

Bolton

The Bolton’s specialise in infantry combat, effecting the health, damage and healing speed of your infantry. If you plan on a large effective army of mainly sword wielding infantry, then this set is for you.

Blackfyre

The bonus of the Blackfyre is similar to the Bolton’s, but not restricted to just infantry. Any troops can receive the health, damage and defense bonuses of this set. So, this could be a good set for anyone who has an even mix of units.

Mormont

The Mormonts bonus is accurate to the TV series as its all about reinforcing seats of power and defense. This set is good for PvP encounters and any fight to do with Seats of Power. This probably wont be your first set as it is very specialised.

Wildling

The Wildlings bonus is also PvP but with some ranged attack thrown in for good measure. There are certain bonuses in this set which increase the defense against cavalry and damage against infantry. This is a good set for players with a lot of ranged units.

Faith Militant

The bonus for the Faith Militant include your troop load, siege health and workshop capacity. Meaning that this set is designed to be used for taking over other peoples cities. For this set to be effective, your strength comes in numbers.

Reaver

The Reaver’s are all about infantry survival and PvP. So a lot of the bonuses in this set involve defense or attacks against other players. This set is particularly good for griefing other players and attacking units rather then cities.

Corsair

The Corsair are most effective at range and improve your overall troop attacks. This set provides a lot of bonuses for ranged combat, but also include some general bonuses for any units. This is an okay set for players with a large amount of ranged units.

Qartheen

The Qartheen is another set where the bonuses are not combat based. Instead, their focus is on research, construction and healing. This set is very useful at reducing the cost it takes for units to heal, so it will be essential for maintaining a large army.

Dothraki

The Dothraki set improves your cavalry’s effectiveness as well as the march speed of your units. The Dothraki set is all about catching your enemies quickly on horseback and doing a lot of damage to enemy units.

Lannister

The effectiveness and upkeep of your infantry is improved with the Lannister set. Not much more needs to be said about this set, we all know of the house of Lannister’s power.

Stark

The Stark set is all about attacking a Seat of Power and sieges. This means you should equip this set if you are attacking an enemies city, and the enemy city is important.
