DuckTales Remastered confirmed for PC

Oh good, you’re here! If you’ll just have a seat, we’ll get started in a moment. Let me just dust off my crystal ball first. What’s that? You didn’t know I could see into the future? Well you must not be paying close enough attention!

Back in March at PAX East, Capcom announced that a remake of the NES classic DuckTales was headed to Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. At that time, I said – and I quote – “I’d bet everything in my money vault (32 cents and a bus pass) that we’ll see DuckTales on Steam before the end of the year.”

It looks like you owe me 32 cents and a bus pass.

Capcom has confirmed that DuckTales Remastered will be available for PC via Steam, Origin, Impulse, GamersGate, Green Man Gaming, and just about everywhere else you can think of.  Its price is set at $14.99, and should launch in the same window as the console versions. There’s no specific word on when that is, other than “this summer.”
