Crimson: Steam Pirates gets a new chapter and a new device

Back in September, Crimson: Steam Pirates left us pretty wowed when we got a chance to play it on the iPad. The game features an amazing alternate history setting, wonderful turn-based combat, and varied level design. The one problem, though, was that it was only available on the iPad, which left a lot of iOS gamers sitting out in the cold. That’s all changed today, as the game is now available on the iPhone. And even better, Chapter 3 has just been released.

Chapter 3 features a total of 8 new voyages (on top of the 16 that are already available in Chapters 1 and 2). With the new chapter, there’s over a dozen different types of ships at your disposal and more than 20 different crew members with unique abilities to help you during your adventures.

Chapter 3, “Fiendish Plots & Devious Devices” marks the finale of the first adventure in the Tales of Captain Blood. It contains new elements like ice-making and breaking, the Minelayer, and “the awe-inspiring Tesla Death Ray.”

Chapters 1 and 2 are both on sale for $0.99, and Chapter 3 is available as an in-app purchase for another $0.99. If you’re a fan of steampunk, pirates, or great games in general, you shouldn’t pass this deal up.
