    Casebook is a game based around mystery, investigation, and forensics. The goal of the game is to help in the recovery of a family's kidnapped children. You will be playing the role of Detective Burton's "Partner". This game requires a vast amount of patience, for the answers and the evidence aren't always very obvious! Your search and seek abilities and your ability to connect one piece of evidence to another will present a challenge only a few will be able to finish on their own....

    Casebook doesn't just combine the best elements of both the hidden object and adventure game genres into one intriguing whole, couched in darker, more mature trappings than the average mainstream offering. It also introduces special technology that allows you to wander videotaped crime scenes, complete with real-life actors and locations, as if you were actually an investigator taking part firsthand in an episode of Bones or CSI.

    Clocktower Games has announced that it will soon be launching the first chapter in its episodic mystery game Casebook, Episode I.What's unique about Casebook is that it uses a special technology developed by a company called Areograph that is able to blend real film footage (including real actors and real locations) into the gameplay.The results are photorealistic 3D environments with characters that look like they're straight out of a movie or TV show -- check out the screenshots and you'll see what we mean. The game will also feature more than 30 minutes of cinematic cutscenes.
