Gamezebo is currently hanging out at the Digital Dragons games conference in Krakow, where the Digital Dragons Awards gala has just come to a close.

Dying Light 2 Wins Big

Dying Light 2: Stay Human was the biggest winner of the night, taking both the Best Polish Game and Best Polish Game Design awards.

During a ceremony at the ICE Congress Centre in Krakow developer Techland received a powerful professional PC kit, powered by sponsor AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper Pro processor

Techland’s highly acclaimed survival horror sequel, released last year, is set 22 years after the first game and boasts the vocal and motion capture talents of superstar actor Rosario Dawson.

Gameplay-wise, it sees you once again parkouring your way around an apocalyptic hellscape and smashing zombies right in their stupid faces with a variety of degradable weapons.

The map is massively expanded this time around, while the free-running mechanic has been tweaked and refined, resulting in the Digital Dragons Awards triumph we see today.

Who Else Walked Away With Awards?

Draw Distance’s Serial Cleaners took home the prize for Best Polish Game Art, while The Parasight’s Blacktail scooped the award for Best Polish Game Audio.

The Best Ongoing Polish Game is, of course, Cyberpunk 2077.

FromSoftware’s Elden Ring has been crowned the Best Foreign Game by a jury.
