One of the coolest little puzzle platformers of 2015 was HoPiKo – a game about freeing the helpful gremlins that live inside your vintage gaming console from the nasty virus that’s captured them. It’s a game of carefully timed swipes and taps, a bit of forethought, and beautifully old school presentation.
And right now it’s absolutely free.
If I had to guess why, it probably has something to do with PKTBALL. That’s the next release from Laser Dog Games, destined for the App Store April 7th. It’s the Laser Dog spin on Pong, and it looks like a hoot.
We’re not too sure how long this HoPiKo deal is on for, but if I had to guess, I’d bet that this is revealed as Apple’s new Free Games of the Week tomorrow. If you don’t already have it in your collection, it’s time to change that. You can grab HoPiKo for zero dineros from the App Store right now.
