Fairy Tale Twist Review
Despite some hits and misses, Zynga maintains its position as the pre-eminent purveyor of "fee-to-play" (nope, that's not a misspelling) and its latest pay-as-you-play is a simple little adventure puzzler called Fairy Tale Twist. Although this little match-three game isn't as hard to put down as a certain candy-themed title that shall remain nameless, it succeeds in bringing enough new stuff to the match-three genre to make it worth your while.High School Story Review
By Nadia Oxford
Our experiences in high school shape the kind of adult we become—for better or worse. We instinctively label ourselves unless we have a label applied to us, and shuffle into groups of like-minded friends. But teenage socialization goes far beyond huddles of "jocks," "nerds," and "preppies." Lines blur, people change. High School Story, a mobile social/building game, successfully demonstrates how varied and dramatic life can become when you're a secondary school student.Neverwinter Review
By Nick Tylwalk
When it comes to games that are a long time coming, Neverwinter is right up there. With a setting that's been detailed in classic RPG supplements, prior video games, and even novels, the current version got kicked around several times before it (and developer Cryptic Studios) ended up at Perfect World Entertainment. Was the resulting free-to-play MMORPG worth the wait? If you're a casual player into action and instances, the answer is probably yes.Starborn Wanderers Review
By Rob Rich
At first glance, it seems as though Starborn Wanderers has a lot going for it. There's the implication of a large galaxy to explore. Goods can be traded, pirates can be fought, and lots of other space adventure-y stuff can be done. There's even a magic system of sorts. Trouble is, the glue holding all of these elements together is as uninspired as it is dull.Nearwood Review
By John Anthony
Nearwood is your next adventure game addiction. From MagicIndie, the team behind the equally superb The Fool, you can expect more than a fair share of smart puzzles, clever mini-games, quirky characters, and beautiful bits of scenery to admire. It's the sort of game you won't want to stop playing until you've extracted every secret it has to offer!Worms 3 Review
By Joe Jasko
You know the drill, sergeant: those ruthless worm soldiers have returned in Worms 3, and they're taking to the battlefields at every Beach, Farm, and Sewer in what will undoubtedly become the definitive mobile version of Worms today. And while a few repetitive elements unavoidably manage to set in amidst all of the small-scale carnage, the sprawling arsenal, intriguing advent of trading cards, and healthy multitude of game modes still make this one mobile war you'll be telling your little grandchildren worms about one day.Swift Revenge Review
By David Oxford
In Swift Revenge, the evil Doctor Crow has destroyed (or at least done a nice bit of damage to) the floating island home of the heroic bird, Swift. Though Jedi may shun the concept, Swift will gladly tell you that revenge is for the birds.Champs: Battlegrounds Review
Synchronous multiplayer games have long had a love-hate relationship with mobile. While the bulk of successful mobile multiplayer titles have been turn-based, occasional games (such as Solstice Arena) have managed to break free from those confines and find success. Champs: Battlegrounds is the newest game to break free from the turn-based mobile gameplay and offer both real-time multiplayer and a fresh take on the tactical RPG genre.
