Time Surfer creator announces new action game called Duet
By Joe Jasko
From Kumobius, creator of the fantastic Time Surfer and Bean's Quest, comes a mesmerizing new action game called Duet. Described as a "hex-like" game of sorts that achieves an elegant presentation through a sleek minimalist design, Duet tasks players with maneuvering two different colored orbs through an increasingly difficult maze of falling objects. The orbs are linked together in a small circular orbit, and players simply have to rotate the chain to the left or the right in order to dodge the blocky and rectangular obstacles that get in their way.Primarily a game about reflexes, and how fast you can get yours to react, just from watching the debut gameplay trailer of Duet in action, I can already tell that this one is going to join the ranks of games like Super Hexagon in providing an insanely challenging and "twitchy" experience: and I, for one, am totally all for that. With over 50 edge-of-your-seat stages, an endless Survival mode that you can use to brag to your friends, and a mystifying narrative that slowly begins to unfold, Duet is already shaping up to be a deep and engrossing mobile experience that is surely not to be missed. But the coolest thing we've seen about the game so far is that every time you make a mistake in Duet, the orbs will splatter red and blue paint on the pristine white obstacles: to serve as a constant reminder of where you went wrong. Duet is currently expected to launch on iOS devices sometime in Q4 2013.Help the Peanuts build and manage a candy factory in Snoopy’s Candy Town

Charlie Brown and the gang are back once again to fill your mobile device with all kinds of heartwarming adventure and fun! Hot on the heels of the incredibly popular Snoopy's Street Fair city-building and simulation game, developer Beeline Interactive has announced another partnership with Peanuts Worldwide for a second mobile offering in the Peanuts universe called Snoopy's Candy Town. The premise of the game involves Snoopy, Woodstock, and all the other beloved Peanuts characters running a candy factory in order to help Charlie Brown raise enough funds to become the new Class President. Could Charlie Brown finally come out on top for once without having the proverbial football being pulled out from under him? Well that's going to be up to you, and how much delicious candy you can produce!"In the game, players will start their business endeavors completely from scratch, by building the fantastic candy factory from the ground up, and filling it with whirling machines, mouthwatering storerooms, and an assembly line of Woodstock-like employees who fit the role of Willy Wonka's Oompa Loompas. Snoopy's sister Belle also has some pretty big doggy shoes to fill in the game, as she assumes the role of a candy shop manager to help sell all those sweet and sticky products to the sweet-toothed customers.Snoopy's Candy Town will be available on smartphones and tablets at the beginning of November, and you can head on over to the game's official Facebook page to get an early taste of the first released screenshots of Charlie Brown and friends in action.Free Games and Sales: Lili, God of Blades and more!

By Joe Jasko
GAMEVIL has announced today their acquisition of esteemed and successful global developer and publisher of mobile games, Com2uS. The recent deal, which reportedly cost GAMEVIL a cool $65 million, puts the Korea-based company in control of the majority of Com2uS shares. So what does this deal mean for us gamers? It means lots of great new mobile experiences are surely on the way as GAMEVIL strives to become the top gaming company on a global scale today! This is certainly one of the most substantial acquisitions in the mobile F2P market that we've ever seen, and going forward, both GAMEVIL and Com2uS plan to leverage off of one another's successful user bases, GAMEVIL Circle and Com2uS Hub, respectively. GAMEVIL is most recently reaping the benefits of games like Steel Commanders and Dark Avenger, while Com2uS has been hard at work with the upkeep of games like Heroes of War and Golf Star; so both companies already know a thing or two about making great mobile games on a more widespread scale. For more information on the future of GAMEVIL and Com2uS' newfound partnership (A.K.A. the mobile F2P mega-studio of greatness), be sure to keep those browsers pinned on Gamezebo, as we'll provide you with all of the subsequent updates as soon as we hear them.Tiny Death Star: From the makers of Tiny Tower
By Jim Squires
NimbleBit have done some pretty amazing things in short time that smartphone gaming has been a thing, though none of their subsequent releases have managed to reach quite as high on the popularity scale as 2011's Tiny Tower. Now, more than two years after their top game's release, NimbleBit are taking us on a tower-building adventure in a galaxy far far away. Star Wars: Tiny Death Star will, as the official press release puts it, let players "live life on the dark side and join Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader on a mission to attract Galactic bitizens, run intergalactic businesses, and build an all-new Death Star."This isn't the first collaboration Disney had made with a popular studio in recent months. My Muppets Show was a re-working of My Singing Monsters, tackled by the game's original developer Big Blue Bubble. And let's not forget Imangi tackling games like Temple Run: Brave and Temple Run: Oz for the House of Mouse. There's no word on an exact release date for Star Wars: Tiny Death Star quite yet, but Disney are saying that we can expect a worldwide release "soon." Though if you ask me, it can't be soon enough. By Joe Jasko
Hot on the heels of last month's iOS release of cult favorite sandbox crafting game Terraria, creator Andrew "Redigit" Spinks of Re-Logic has confirmed that a Terraria 2 is eventually on the way. However, we shouldn't expect the full-fledged sequel for quite some time, as Spinks and team have plenty more content updates in store for the original crafting adventure to take us through the rest of 2013 and beyond. In talking with Rock Paper Shotgun about the prospects of a Terraria 2, Spinks has revealed that the game has already been in the planning stages for quite some time. While the sequel will still bear quite a lot of similarities to the original Terraria game, fans can still expect to find a lot that's also completely new: specifically the mention of "infinite worlds" that won't restrict Terraria players to one confined location, and provide an unlimited sense of exploration."But in the meantime, we certainly haven't seen the last of the first Terraria, as Spinks is determined to finish some much-anticipated endgame content within the next month or two (which will add a final boss into the adventure), in addition to a possible Halloween-themed update, before fully focusing his efforts on developing Terraria 2. He is also considering opening a smaller, second team at Re-Logic to keep up with furthering the original Terraria content well after he has moved onto Terraria 2.Any Terraria fans out there? Are you ready to explore the limitless ends of Terraria 2? Be sure to let us know in the replies!
