Burger Cat Preview
Ravenous Games, the studio behind League of Evil is going in a softer, kinder, more whiskered direction for its next iOS game. The title, Burger Cat, is a platform-puzzler starring a chubby orange cat. Wait a minute--cats are the embodiment of domesticated evil, so maybe Ravenous Games isn't venturing too far out of familiar territory after all.
ZENFORMS: Protectors Preview
If Nintendo ever decided to release a Pokemon game for the iOS, mathematicians would need to invent a new denomination to tally the amount of money that the project would rake in. Pokemon iOS is not going to happen, though: Nintendo would sooner put Shigeru Miyamoto in charge of the company's janitorial staff. So it's up to independent developers like Calis Projects to fill in the gap with their own monster-collecting games.

In a mere three days following its release on March 22, Angry Birds Space, the latest entry in the highly popular (and highly lucrative) physics puzzle series, reached ten million downloads. Kickstarter Picks: Feeble’s Fable

Atomic Chimp has started a Kickstarter in hopes of funding its multi-genre fantasy game, Feeble's Fable. With a little luck and some generosity, Feeble's Fable will give us the magic, monsters, and heroism we crave--but not the vitamin D. You're on your own for that one.
Former 6waves Lolapps CEO leaves company following developer layoffs
Earlier in the week, we reported that social games giant 6waves Lolapps laid off most of its internal development staff (essentially, the "Lolapps" half of "6waves Lolapps") in order to re-focus on its efforts on publishing third-party games. Hang on tight, 'cause the earth's still moving: on Friday, Arjun Sethi, the former CEO of Lolapps, announced on his blog that he's leaving 6waves Lolapps entirely.

Techpocalypse is a co-op strategy-survival game that will educate you on the best ways to dispatch the Machines--but the project needs funding to get off the ground. Flight Control Rocket Review
The original Flight Control by Firemint is still a showcase title for the iOS. Whereas many studios struggle to import console games and implement traditional controls on a platform that was never designed for them, Flight Control is tailored to suit the touchscreen's strengths. What's more, the game demonstrates that small, independent developers are very capable of designing hit titles in this age of giant studios and flashy graphics.
