    Ion's iCade arcade cabinet has managed to provide those of us who frittered away our formative years in video arcades (and own iPads) relive the nostalgia of our youth. Not only does the device recreate the arcade control experience, but it also provides you with a free copy of Atari's Greatest Hits. Now, it turns out that the iCade cabinet is getting some siblings, including two that are compatible with the iPhone.

    Minecraft - Pocket Edition was a long time coming to mobile devices. But when it finally arrived, it wasn't really what people wanted, including a general lack of content and being saddled with limitations thanks to said devices' hardware. Despite this, developer Mojang promised lots of stuff with updates and then … nothing. There's been a lot of silence from that end about when folks could expect the patch, but Mojang's finally announced a definite date.

    I'm still not sure what happened with Legendary Heroes. It was inspired by the Defense of the Ancients mod for Warcraft III, features a number of the same mechanics as League of Legends, and … isn't nearly as fun as either title. That's a shame, because the game's got a lot going for it, but developer Maya still has a lot to do if it really wants to make the title great.

There are so many of these games —and so many of them feel identical to one another— that they kind of blur together after a while. That's why I was so surprised this week when I started playing Kingdom Rush, a game that I found myself playing for hours at a time.

    The Zenonia games remind me a bit of the Resident Evil films: The newer titles seem to be working really hard to make up for the problems of their predecessors. In the case of Zenonia, each release has done a lot to correct the shortcomings of the previous game. With Zenonia 4, the overall quality has been refined into something that's pretty solid, though it's still not quite perfect.
