    If you've been meaning to check out the puzzle game Picross for a while, then here is an excellent place to start. World Riddles: Seven Wonders eases players into the grid-clicking action with a steady difficulty curve, various other minigames to break up the action, and smooth polished gameplay. Certain elements can be a little dull, but overall there's plenty here to enjoy.

    PopCap's Peggle was a rather slow-burner when it first released, which in retrospect is hardly surprising given its content - I mean, who would have guessed that launching a ball into a bunch of brightly-coloured pegs would have been so addictive? Of course, with every huge hit comes a variety of clones looking to ride in its coattails, and ApGames are looking to do just that with Caelum, a space-based variant on the formula. While Caelum features a few unique ideas, the action is far too slow and bland to capture that addictive quality its inspiration oozed.

    There's money to be made in space, and the AstroDrillers are ready to grab a piece of that action. AstroDriller3020 doesn't directly give you the task of mining gems from asteroids, but instead asks you to catch the precious materials that the drillers drop.

    Being a blob of tar can't be easy. You'd slip through cracks in the pavement all the time, be constantly laughed at when you went out shopping, and putting on clothes would be a nightmare. On the other hand, you could potentially go on epic underground adventures that other beings could only dream of.

    The console gaming market has seen a real boom in the music and rhythm genre in recent years, with the likes of Guitar Hero and Rock Band bringing friends and family together with one true goal in mind - to rock out. Of course, the PC isn't so suited to such an experience, as the idea of a group of people congregating around a computer monitor in a study isn't so rock 'n' roll. A number of developers have still had a fair crack at it, of course. Rhythm Zone is Sonic Boom's take on the concept, with the twist that you can import your own music library into the game and play any song you want. While it sounds like a nice idea on paper, the end result is far too random, and this plus the lack of content makes Rhythm Zone difficult to recommend.

    When the Seven Deadly Sins were first conceived, they were divided into venial sins, which referred to minor offences and were not of grave importance, and capital sins, which could potentially render a person's soul as "dead." Deadly Sin 2 is a gorgeously pixelated RPG with a huge storyline and plenty of skills and moves to keep the most hardcore adventurer busy, but ultimately commits a whole host of sins. Fortunately they are all of the venial type, but the overall experience is still heavily impeded.
