    The Duke of Wellington was a great general, but he wasn't distracted by the need to look after Britain's Industrial output or cultural heritage. His King, George III, had some qualities as a monarch, but didn't have to busy himself with the precise disposition of the brigades in his peninsular armies. To succeed in March of the Eagles, you'll have to do all this and more by yourself.

But I don't think I've ever played a game with such an unexpected theme as Collapsible D: The Final Minutes of the Titanic, which simulates the sinking of the Titanic.

    House of Hell was unquestionably one of the most unusual and memorable of the original Fighting Fantasy gamebook series. First published in 1985, its modern-day horror setting stood out amongst a sea of generic fantasy and science fiction stablemates. That's likely in part why Tin Man Games has chosen to make it this, tenth in the original line-up, the second of their Fighting Fantasy iOS releases.

They told us it was going to be a translation of the epic and much-revered space-civilization genre to mobile phones, and that it would seamlessly combine real-time and turn-based strategy. Ambitious—some might say unlikely—but since the game is out and initially free we can all play it and make up our own minds.
