    Its been said by some game designers that the first 15 minutes of a game is critical to win over the player. But this wasn't the case in Beach Party Craze, Alawar Entertainment's latest business sim, as it starts off underwhelming but gains momentum as you progress through the 50 levels.Patient gamers willing to give this game a chance will find it a deep and rewarding - but not perfect - piece of interactive entertainment.

    Many Gamezebo readers will remember the old "parking puzzle" games, such as Car Jam, where the goal is for your car to reach the exit by first moving objects around vertically or horizontally. This concept now gets a fantasy twist in Reflexive's Crumb, a story about searching for the Forest Mother through an enchanted world during four seasons.Collecting magical "crumbs" over these 50 levels will give you new pages to the story to read and access to the next stages (including an ice land and an autumn world), but the core game-play remains the same for each level: move around the top-down 2-D world using the four arrow keys (recommended) or by mouse-clicking in the direction you want to go.

    As a city slicker who grew up thinking milk comes from a store, I wasn't sure if I'd "get" playing Alawar's Farm Frenzy 2, a game all about farm management and profit. Much to my surprise, however, the game's challenging levels and cute graphics were eggs-actly what I needed on lengthy plane rides this past weekend.Even if you haven't played the original, which isn't too different than this sequel, Farm Frenzy 2 is fairly easy to pick up, but a word of warning - it gets pretty darn tough a few levels in. You're in control of a farm and your goal is to meet each day's goals, which might be to make a specific amount of money or raise a certain number of animals.

    If you've played any of the other store-based time management games like Cake Mania, Turbo Subs or Coffee Rush then you need not download Jewelleria. Not only does it offer the same play mechanic as other serving-style multitasking games but it doesn't do as good a job.As told by the crudely-drawn comic strip, you play as Elly, who just graduated from college and decides to help her dad out with his ailing jewelry store. Right away you'll see spelling mistakes and awkward grammar with sentences like "I've always love the shoep!" Um, I understand and respect these developers are Russian, but why hasn't anyone caught this? Don't they test the games they're publishing?

Of course you do.Now you can download a digital version of this classic toy, which goes above and beyond the original in the game-play department. In fact, it's really a few separate games and activities in one, and well worth the $20 purchase.
