Hell Invaders Preview

It must not be a very cold day in Hell today, because Spicy Horse Games has lifted the lid on their next sizzling title. The game in question has been revealed to be a collectable card game and real-time strategy hybrid that's set in the throes of the Underworld, and has the working title of Hell Invaders. We here at Gamezebo felt especially obligated to bring you this good news today, for fear that Spicy Horse would follow through on their press release promise to track us down and force us to listen to them sing the full 7:30 version of Meat Loaf's "I Would Do Anything for Love" should we fail to spread the word.

Bird Mania Review

When Bird Mania was first released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop almost a year ago today, it received mix reviews from fans and critics alike. While some applauded the sharp visuals and fast gameplay, others criticized the severe lack of things to do in the game. Unfortunately, not much seems to have changed in this iOS port. At its core, Bird Mania is a simple endless runner game, but one that shows us that sometimes simple isn't always necessarily better.

Indiegogo Picks: Mad Birds

Calling all disco fans: have we found the game for you! Mad Birds is the first ever handmade interactive music video clip, brought to you by the Israeli electro-dance band, Terry Poison, who hails from Tel Aviv. The game is described by the band as "Angry Birds + acid + sequins," and I'm not really sure that I even need to continue with this preview now after typing something like that.

Cut the Rope: Time Travel Review

I'm not sure if it's because of the pitch-perfect gameplay, or the fact that I have an undeniable sweet tooth, but Cut the Rope by ZeptoLab has always been one of my favorite casual games ever since my very first smartphone. Cut the Rope: Time Travel marks a return of the addictive physics-based puzzler, and has our little alien pal Om Nom tumbling through all sorts of time periods like The Middle Ages and The Renaissance, and meeting up with his ancient ancestors to share a piece of candy or two.

I stopped listening to the radio a long time ago, because whenever I tried to find a clear station and frequency signal, my ears tended to only be met with disruptive static instead. But then today I got to thinking: what kinds of fascinating words and stories were actually being told under all that noise? What if they were being sent from another place, or even another time? FREEQ is a unique audio adventure game from Psychic Bunny, where players learn that the radio frequencies we pick up here in 2013 are really cries for help from the inhabitants of a distant world in the future.

Fish Out Of Water Review

After the runaway success of their casual smash hits like Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, Halfbrick Studios had set the bar pretty high for themselves for any follow-up release. While their latest bubbly and fish-focused adventure may not have the lasting power and widespread appeal of some of Halfbrick's past greats, Fish Out of Water is still an incredibly fun and friendly frolic through the bottom of the sea.
