Game of the Month: Oceanhorn

November has always traditionally been one of the greatest months to be a gamer: after all, that's usually when all of the big-name developers decide to release their most highly-anticipated projects of the year, just in time for the holidays. But now it looks like the same could also be said for the mobile games industry as well, as this past November gave us so many amazing new releases that we had an unbelievably difficult time trying to narrow them all down for this list!So here's a quick rundown of the incredible new gaming experiences that kept us busy all throughout November: an exhilarating platform-runner that took us through all sorts of hot and cold places where the ground is made of food; a strategic look at the afterlife for shoguns, where things are actually a bit more crowded than one might initially believe; and of course, a monstrous adventure across the colorful seas that could even give The Legend of Zelda a run for its money."For a more detailed account of all the games we thought were among November's best this year, just keep on scrolling down this page. Gorgeous new screens surface for Brothers in Arms 3

Do you guys like new screenshots? Who am I kidding, of course you do! Well today we just so happen to have a fresh batch of them from Gameloft's upcoming World War II shooter, Brothers in Arms 3, and let me tell you something right now: they look unbelievably realistic and sharp, especially for a mobile game at that!Set within a variety of indoor and outdoor environments against a WWII backdrop, Brothers in Arms 3 will feature slick tactical shooting gameplay with a big emphasis on changing weather conditions. From desolate streets and burning palace interiors, to a once-idyllic forest that's now crawling with tanks and bunkers, the new screenshots seem to perfectly capture that uneasy balance between the beauty of nature and the horrors of war."First announced over the summer, Gameloft's Brothers in Arms 3 is currently slated for a release sometime in early 2014, but you can take a gander at the brand new screenshots right now by scrolling down on this page.

Today we've learned that Witching Hour Studios' popular turn-based strategy war game Ravenmark: Mercenaries is now available on Android for the very first time. The latest Ravenmark game scored impressively high marks from us here at Gamezebo when it first came out on iOS this summer, and so there's really no reason why Android owners shouldn't check this one out!In Ravenmark: Mercenaries, players are able to build their very own mercenary army and wage wars against other players online across the game's desolate landscape. Free Toxic Pond update coming to Tasty Tadpoles this week

Life for a tadpole may not always be easy, but as Tasty Tadpoles taught us earlier this year, it sure can be fun! In the game, players take control of a young tadpole named Taddy, as they tap on the screen to guide him through a pond filled with all sorts of obstacles like logs and electric eels. Well as if all of those hazards weren't enough to make the bravest of tadpoles shiver in the water, we've now gotten word that toxic ponds are going to be added into the mix in a new free update that's coming this week.Toxic waste has been leaking into Taddy's home, and he'll soon have to fend off mutant 3-eyed tadpoles and exploding toxic waste barrels. All in all, the Toxic Pond update to Tasty Tadpoles is said to bring 25 new levels into the mix, and for you completionist gamers out there like myself, 2 new trophies to earn and 4 new challenges to conquer.We had a real blast here at Gamezebo with Tasty Tadpoles the first time around, and so any more of that bright and arcade-style goodness is A-OK in my book! The free Toxic Pond update to Tasty Tadpoles will be going live on December 5, 2013. Telltale’s The Walking Dead – Season Two will premiere in December

Well we all knew it was coming, but Telltale has narrowed down that launch window even more this morning: confirming that their highly anticipated The Walking Dead - Season Two adventure game series will premiere sometime in December 2013. And given that today is already December 2, why that doesn't leave much waiting now at all!The first episode of a presumed five will be titled "All That Remains," and is said to feature the "familiar face" of Clementine from Season One, as per the picture in Telltale's official announcement tweet. Unfortunately, we don't have any other additional details about the upcoming premiere episode just quite yet, like what platforms The Walking Dead - Season Two will be headed to first."But considering that there's only a few weeks left of game releases before the holidays hit, we can expect to learn more in the very near future. rymdkapsel is headed to PC in January

Don't you just love it when a futuristic game about building and expanding your space station into foreign terrain starts gearing up to expand into some real-life foreign terrain itself? Namely, the futuristic game in this instance is the fantastic mobile hit rymdkapsel. And that foreign terrain? Well that just so happens to be the PC gaming platform.In today's official announcement on the rymdkapsel website, Grapefrukt Games has not only confirmed that their acclaimed mobile strategy game will be headed to PC in January, but that the upcoming release is set to feature some additional bonus content as well: including new monoliths, more missions, and even two shiny new game modes. The announcement also mentions that rymdkapsel will be getting a similar treatment on Mac and Linux around the same time via Steam."This news is especially exciting, considering how rymdkapsel happened to be one of our favorite strategy games over this past summer, and having a beefed up version on PC now can only heighten that experience.
