    When I was a much younger lad, I worked briefly as a grocery clerk. As you might imagine, it was a job that led to a lot of packed groceries. In fact, after a few months on the job, I got so good at it that I had a hard time letting other people pack my groceries for me. To this day, I have friends and family that make me cringe every time I watch them put cleaning supplies in with fresh produce, or a pot roast in with a bag of chips. Bag It!, the upcoming iOS debut from Hidden Variable Studios, is a puzzle game that celebrates my particularly unique skill set.

    ngmoco is prepping a pair of big freemium releases this fall with the upcoming SkyFall and Dragon Craft, and they want to give Gamezebo readers a chance to be amongst the first to play! The RPG SkyFall has just entered its beta phase, and they've invited 500 Gamezebo readers to get in on the action.     When Mafia Wars 2 hit Facebook last month, it was heralded as a tremendous step forward for the franchise. Zynga's first true sequel was light years ahead of its predecessor, replacing the text-driven RPG format of yesteryear with a slick, stylish 3D world to explore and a whole new style of gameplay. Last year, Venan Entertainment wowed us with the release of Space Miner: Space Ore Bust - a game that drew heavy inspiration from the Atari classic Asteroids. Then later that year, they wowed us once more with Space Miner Blast - a freemium twist on the Space Miner formula. Asteroid Gunner, in turn, is drawing on Space Miner Blast for inspiration.

    As anyone who has ever used the internet will tell you, Flash has been a pretty big deal. In fact, it seems fairly safe to say that Adobe Flash (or as it was known prior to 2005, Macromedia Flash) single-handedly made things like videos, animations, and browser-based gaming on the internet possible - or at the very least, accessible. When Steve Jobs (may he rest in peace) proclaimed that HTML5 would win out over Flash in the end, the very notion seemed laughable. Now however, it seems as though Jobs is having the last laugh.
