    The folks at Imangi Studios have had a lot of time to think about their next move. After all, with a game like Temple Run under your belt, you can afford to take the time to carefully consider what you're going to do next. And while they've turned down other licensing deals before (read more about that in our interview), when Disney came calling, they did so with a property that Imangi would have been crazy to say no to: Pixar's upcoming animated blockbuster Brave.

    The number of games on mobile devices now numbers in the hundreds of thousands. But break that down to the games that really matter - the games that everybody plays and that never seem to wear out their welcome - and that list gets considerably smaller. Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Jetpack Joyride - they'd all make the cut. And yet, it's the endless running of adventurer Guy Dangerous that has seemed on the tip of everybody's tongue for the last six months.

    When people think of gaming conferences, they tend to think of events like GDC, WWDC, or Casual Connect. Canada, it would seem, is the furthest thing from their minds. In fact, with the exception of the Montreal International Games Summit (and the somewhat smaller DIG conference in London Ontario), there really isn't a single annual show where Canadian developers can get together to discuss their craft. Earlier this week, the number of great Canadian game conferences just grew by one, with the debut of the Ottawa Game Conference.

The studio released Bag It! in the Fall of 2011; a puzzle game about the delicate balancing act we all face when trying not to squish the bread or break the eggs in the checkout line.
