    As a society, it seems safe to say that we're collectively averse to prequels.  I suppose we have George Lucas to thank for that.  But looking back, some prequels have been fantastic.   The Godfather Part II, Prometheus, X-Men First Class - all fantastic stories that take place before the start of the properties we've come to know and love.  But what about Bad Piggies?  Is it a prequel as worthy as those I've mentioned?  Or is it more like The Phantom Menace?

    With the launch of iOS 6 last week, users who visited the App Store were visited with a staggering makeover.  The new presentation brought plenty of changes, from new features appearing for the first time to old features being tucked away, and in some cases, totally removed.

    When word first hit that Hironobu Sakaguchi would be bringing his considerable talents to mobile devices, legions of gamers found themselves sitting on the edge of their seat.  What sprawling, majestic epic would he create?  This was the creative genius who birthed the Final Fantasy franchise, after all.  And then it happened; that first "epic" was actually an arcade-style surfing game called Party Wave.

    In its few short years on the gaming scene, just about every genre you could ever imagine has been tried on the iPhone.  The one notable exception however, at least in my mind, has been an iNiS-style rhythm game.  Best known for the touch-based DS hit Elite Beat Agents (or if you're a real game nerd like me, it's predecessor Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan), the folks at iNiS seemed like a perfect match for the growing smartphone market.  And with the release of Demons' Score, they've proved that hunch right… more or less.
