    I hate the term vaporware.  I know that it exists, and I know that some games really become it - but just because a game takes a ridiculous amount of time to develop doesn't mean that it's not coming.  Take Galactic Keep: Dice Battles.  This is a game that's been on my radar since 2009.  Most people would think I was crazy to expect it to still happen after all this time - but with your help, it may actually cross the finish line sooner than later.

    Tabletop card games - especially the kind that hobby gamers play - can be a lot of things.  Deep, strategic, complex; all of these are words you might expect to hear. But Fluxx is none of these.  While it may appeal to the same hobbyist market as games like Catan and Carcassonne, Fluxx is just about as silly and simple as games can get.  But that's ok - sometimes silly and simple is exactly what the doctor ordered.

I suppose that if you're talking about match-3, there's some truth to that statement.  After all, what genre is more crowded than that?  For every AAA title out there, there are dozens upon dozens of match-3 games.  They're like locusts.  Fun, color-matching, gem-swapping locusts.

    Big Fish has been going sales crazy lately, and if you're a consumer of games, this is definitely a good thing.  Still - aren't you pining for the days when sales were usually tied to holidays?
